About the Role
Are you a reliable, hands-on worker who enjoys a mix of driving and practical maintenance tasks? We’re looking for a dedicated Truck Driver & General Maintenance Worker to join our team and help keep our operations running smoothly.
This role is perfect for someone who is hard working, proactive and takes pride in representing their organisation with professionalism.
In this dual-position role, you will do:
Truck Driving
Safely operate company vehicles in line with road laws and policies
Conduct pre-starts and post-trip checks
Load, secure, transport, and unload goods and equipment
Maintain accurate delivery records and report any defects or incidents
General Maintenance
Carry out routine property and building maintenance
Assist with basic repairs, groundskeeping, and equipment upkeep
Support operational teams with manual labour and setup/pack down tasks
Job Requirements
Current HR driver’s licence
Experience in truck driving and load handling
Strong practical maintenance skills
Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks
Physically capable and comfortable with manual labour
Reliable, respectful, and professional
NOT REQUIRED BUT GOOD TO HAVE: Forklift licence (or willingness to get one)
Basic mechanical knowledge
Conduct
Represent the organisation professionally at all times
Uphold behaviour that does not bring the organisation or its leadership into disrepute
Interact respectfully and positively with staff, volunteers, and the public
